Today I bump into the problem mentioned above. All other machines are working fine with the OSD TS except one machine. The computer model and specs is the same with others. Below is the error screenshot.
Browsing through the internet and I found this. It says that the BIOS date and time is varied and hence causing the error 0x80004005 while retrieving policy. After I adjusted the BIOS date and time, everything went smoothly…

ReplyDeleteJust a quick one, we have prepared a standalone media of windows 7 64 bits with a task sequence created and burning ISOs on three DVDs, we get this error message when we boot from the DVD.
Any solution that you can suggest? I have tried setting the time but the machine is not connected to the network any way.
