I faced this issue in the morning, Right Click on the desired report from the newly installed SCCM 2012 Administration Console and the console is not responding.
Searching the internet and found this discussion. This happened because the reportviewer is not installed and hence the console is not responding.
I tried the solution given, which is to install the reportviewer manually. The installation prompt me an error on the reportviewer installation. I didn’t bother to troubleshoot the error and then try to reinstall the console using the USB drive extracted from the SCCM2012 installation iso. TaaDaa… The report can now run from the SCCM 2012 Administration Console!!!
The previous installation was done using the AdminConsole.msi copied out from the SCCM2012 installation iso. I guess if the installation done using the SCCM2012 installation dvd or USB drive extracted from the iso shouldn’t have this kind of silly error.
Great! This worked for me! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I just ran ReportViewer.exe from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\bin\i386 and it worked.
